Sambhota Educational Society The „Sambhota Educational Home“ in Dehra Dun (UK Northern India) is based on the idea of late Mrs. Taring, to host Tibetan refugee children in a home, like in a big Tibetan family and to send them to good schools. Preservation of Tibetan identity and good education with sciences and english ist he best chance fort he future of all children and a possibility to become a useful member of the Tibetan and international society. In 1998 the Sambhota Educational Sosiety was established in India as well as in Switzerland. In the center of many Tibetan settlements, schools, monastries and hospitals, a home for 100 children was built. For these 100 children and for future extensions we are looking for sponsors. Please contact us, to make a Tibetan refugee child happy!
